Ingredients

Scale

Pigs in a Blanket

  • 1 (14 oz) package little smokies (such as Hillshire Farm)
  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 2-3 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning

Scallion Cream Dip

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 2 tablespoons scallions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the dough: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 smaller strips.

  3. Wrap the smokies: Wrap one Little Smokie with each strip of dough, stretching slightly as needed. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. Brush and season: Brush the tops with melted butter, then immediately sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.

  5. Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

  6. Make the scallion cream dip: In a small bowl, whisk the sour cream and chopped green onions for 1 minute, until smooth and well combined.

  7. Serve: Serve warm with the scallion cream dip.

Notes

Yield note: One 14-ounce package of Little Smokies will yield 24 pigs in a blanket, with 9 sausages left over. Freeze the extras for the next batch, or pick up an additional can of crescent dough and make rolls with what’s left.
